Harpist - Megan Metheney

Welcome to greenharp.com!

Why green? I like the idea of music being alive, growing, and organic; ever-changing and evolving. It reminds me of a verse in the psalms that says people who put their trust in God are like trees planted by the water...their roots spread out next to the stream. They do not fear when heat comes; their leaves are always green. In all they do, they prosper.

I would like to be planted by this River, that my music may be filled with this Life-Source. As a full-time musician, my work goes through periods of hot and cold, spring and winter. I want my music to be something that changes from day to day, something that grows, evolves, and goes through seasons but is always alive and green.
